They’ve met while working as volunteers in a small village in eSwatini (formerly called Swaziland): Dennis and Samantha, a boy from Germany and a girl from America. That their paths crossed on yet another continent can only be described as a miracle, and that their relationship lasted despite the hardships of a longest-distance relationship is a remarkable sign of their deep love, trust and faith. In March, everyone came together in their new home country Germany to celebrate their marriage on a stormy, sunny winter’s day.
Looking at the photographs, I feel that Dennis’ and Samantha’s love for each is so obvious, so naturally written into their faces, their smiles, their eyes – which is kinda unsurprising if you find yourself surrounded by such loving, welcoming and kind families and friends, who supported you every step of the way. Congratulations, Samantha and Dennis! That you two have found each other is a miracle and a blessing indeed.
